I’m probably not your typical Wedding Photographer, although this may perhaps sound a little over sentimental and saccharine coming from a guy in his mid-twenties, I see life in angles, lines of perspective, as subtle glimpses of magic that others are completely oblivious to. My camera helps me understand, translate and interpret what I see, whilst I quietly observe what unfolds around me. I do this not for the monetary rewards or the notoriety, I do it because I'm bloody passionate about it. Essentially, I try very hard to distance myself as far as possible from the wedding photographer stereotype.
On your wedding day, my priority is to make sure you’re having fun. Second to that comes the photos. If you’re truly enjoying yourselves and wrapped up in the moment, there's an instant reflection through the lens. I’m not ashamed to admit that I'm a pretty selfish photographer, I shoot for myself. It ensures that my passion is fully engrained into everything that I do. I like to capture as much as possible, those little moments, those other little moments in between other little moments, I don’t want to miss a thing. For me, it's like bottling lightning to present back to you both in pixels and in print.
My handmade wedding albums have been carefully sourced and created using the finest archival silver halide photographic paper the industry has to offer. This makes for wonderfully sturdy and long lasting luxurious albums. The covers are again hand made and can be embellished with a range of materials, from coloured cotton fabric finishes through to a range of genuine leathers delicately finished with a custom engraved cover.
I also take on a limited number of destination and overseas weddings each year. This isn’t an excuse for me to squeeze extra money from you, for me, it's a privilege. I do not charge for overseas weddings. I shoot all overseas nuptials (Outside Australia) Free of Charge and only charge for flights and accommodation. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot all over Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Thailand, England to name just a few. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to chat further about your overseas / destination wedding.
