About us

Thinking of a Barossa Valley wedding? The Barossa is the ideal place for your guests to take a mini or extended holiday in this premium wine region while celebrating your special day and creating a lifetime of memories.

Lyndoch Hill is the perfect base from which to explore the Barossa wine region or simply relax and enjoy the birds, the food and the local wine. The property is nestled amongst one of Australia's most important rose gardens boasting over 30,000 roses!

Lyndoch Hill is also the perfect wedding venue for you and your guests to arrive, settle in and let the magic unfold, without leaving the property. Offering several ceremony locations, and your reception in the Lyndoch Hill restaurant, with accommodation on-site only a few steps away. You can also enjoy a recovery breakfast the next morning to catch up with all of your family and friends.

The Simply Magic Lawn is an open area with a beautiful gazebo, old gum trees tower above with views of adjoining vineyards and the Barossa Ranges. A footstep away is the “cascade of colour” multi-colour roses descending down the garden beds. A magical location to share with family and friends and to utilise as the backdrop to your wedding photography.

Our Seduction Lawn is the perfect place to stop and smell the roses, steps shouldered by standard seduction roses lead you to the large open grass area surrounded by roses and stately trees, one of the most romantic settings in the Barossa overlooking the Barossa Ranges.

The Queens Garden is the historic location on the property. In 2000, the rose garden project began, an ambitious plan devised and carried through by one of the Barossa’s well known Barons, Hermann Thumm, culminating in the official visit and opening of the garden by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2002.

We understand that planning a wedding is a huge task – there are so many decisions to make, so many choices to consider. Our highly experienced team will personally assist you with all details and will make your wedding planning phase easy and enjoyable.
