Few destinations are more romantic than tropical Port Douglas. While Port Douglas offers the perfect romantic location for your special day, Zinc Port Douglas offers an affordable, stylish wedding venue.

This award-winning restaurant is set amongst lush tropical gardens, on the main street of Port Douglas close to many holiday apartments and holiday homes. Unlike most restaurant venues, Zinc has dedicated areas for wedding receptions so that your wedding can be enjoyed without interruption from other restaurant patrons.

Since opening in December 2004, Zinc has become one of the leading wedding venues in Port Douglas and has been the wedding venue of choice for hundreds of couples since opening. Zinc's reception areas include a private room available for up to 45 guests as well as a beautiful outdoor terrace adjoining this room, bringing the overall capacity to 100. The indoor room is fully air-conditioned and has plantation doors that can be opened on to the terrace. The indoor function room also has a dance floor (space depends on number of guests dining).

Zinc are committed to providing you and your guests with outstanding food, an amazing selection of cocktails, beverages and wines, and attentive, professional service from our experienced staff.

Zinc has a lounge area that remains open until late, perfect for that drink after your reception, or at any other time during your visit to Port Douglas. A snack menu is also available until late.

In addition to being a wonderful reception venue, Zinc is also a popular spot for other get togethers with friends abd family such as: welcome drinks and canapés for your group on arrival into Port Douglas, hen's or buck's night and a recovery lunch.

The staff will work closely with you to plan every detail including food and wine selections, theming, music, chair covers and bows, table decorations and candles, while the dedicated team in the kitchen and on the floor work hard to ensure that the quality of food and wine and the service you receive on the day is second to none. They are committed to making your reception at Zinc stress-free, truly special and memorable.
