About us

Each special couple is unique, so why shouldn’t your wedding jewellery be too? Here at Meakins Jewellers, we enjoy making one-off pieces that hold their value and become family heirlooms. Established in 1973, we have a proud history, however, we specialise in both modern and traditional pieces. We design to suit any budget and you will be dealing directly with the people making your special piece.

Our jeweller, Penny, has more than 20 years industry experience. She is skilled in all types of jewellery manufacture. However, wedding jewellery is particularly close to her heart and is one of her specialities. We also offer a full range of repair and remodelling work, for those old favourites. 

At Meakins, we enjoy building trust and friendship with our clients and providing them with all the information they need to make an informed choice. Please pop in and see us anytime during our opening hours, no appointment necessary. We’re confident that we can work with you to create a finished product that will exceed your expectations and bring you joy for years to come. Our opening hours are 9:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday and 9:00 – 1:00 on Saturday.
