THE THEME: This elegantly sophisticated theme reflects a couples’ modern aesthetic aspirations. The colours are very ‘now’ in hues of copper, rose gold, blush pinks and cream. The ambience is romantic and understated. Unashamedly feminine, this theme is given strength through the metal copper, and structure through the inclusion of designer tables, chairs and tableware, balancing the overall femininity with a decidedly masculine undertone. The entire setting is both formal and relaxed, textural yet simple, intricate yet seamless. It is the very juxtaposition of the contrasting styles, patterns and elements that creates a visual feast, that will undoubtedly delight your guests.

COLOUR SCHEME: Pink and copper complement each other perfectly, but would overwhelm without the neutrality of cream to lighten and soften the space.

THE TABLE: Lay your table with an elegant cream, pure linen, floral, damask tablecloth. Candlelight will reveal the intricate pattern in the damask, which is created from the threads being woven in contrasting directions. The light will also reflect the patterns in the profusion of flowers and create a wonderful effect. Single floral blooms and soft foliage are then scattered throughout the centre of the table, weaving their way through the candle and vases, tying all elements together. Chic copper cutlery flag white patterned plates, with contrasting pink plates for added interest. The delicate pattern is then reflected in the pale pink champagne flutes. Glass bottles, with long stemmed candles, allow the wax to drip playfully down the glass. And, to complete this sublime setting, two floral arrangements sit at either end of each table, while a stunning hanging floral installation, interwoven with fairy lights, sits majestically above.

THE CHAIRS: Copper Tiffany chairs define the space and whisper ‘black tie’ with an undeniable formality. Chic copper candles bring modernity, with their cool metal exterior, while pink-flecked tea light holders add a soft, luminous glow.

DESSERT TABLE: Instead of serving dessert after your main course, why not consider the increasingly popular option of having a dessert table, where guests can help themselves to the delicious array of sweet offerings. Have all desserts made to reflect the theme, colours and formality of your wedding celebration. It is recommended to allow at least three to four items per person, with at least five different styles of mini desserts on offer. Then ensure that your dessert table is decorated to reflect the rest of your reception styling, so it complements your theme perfectly. Within our small cocktail size glasses we present a divine champagne mouse, with cream topping and copper detailing, while our pretty round mini cakes also feature light pink and copper. All desserts are theme ready and totally delicious.

Another delightful sweet offering are our stunning cupcakes, presented in a copper scalloped case, with a smooth swirl of light-pink buttercream and a large pink and copper gumpaste flower sitting majestically on top – so very pretty!

THE SETTING: To plan an outdoor spring black tie wedding reception is to take a risk with the weather, so it’s important to have a wet-weather plan, or alternative arrangement in place. However, there is something quite magical about dining outside, under the stars, with a myriad of flowers and fairy lights enveloping you, surrounded by your family and friends, celebrating one of the most important days of your lives – your wonderful wedding day!
