How They Met
Brenda and Andrew grew up together and their first date was bound to be a success! Andrew had a crush on Brenda since they were kids, and he finally gathered the courage to ask her to go out with him when he turned 19. “With Andrew’s charm, it was hard not to say ‘yes’ to a breakfast date”, admitted Brenda.

The Proposal
A few years after they started dating, Andrew decided to pop the question. A close friend picked Brenda up for a little ‘coffee date’, but she took her to the airport and gave her an envelope with a ticket to Sydney and a set of instructions that eventually led her to Andrew. They hopped on a private taxi boat which took them to a beautiful spot across from Sydney Harbour. They walked to a small isolated jetty where he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

The Reception
Brenda and Andrew hosted their reception at Lyndoch Hill which is set amid a huge rose garden in the picturesque Barossa Valley and the night was finished off with a sparkler send-off.

The Theme
The colour palette included ivory and rose-gold shades, and all inspiration came from Pinterest.

The Dress
The bride wore an elegant strapless lace gown bought at Jenny and Gerry’s Bridal Centre. The ethereal ivory dress had a blush pink underskirt which is why the shimmery rose gold bridesmaid’s dresses were the perfect match. Brenda styled her dress with Lovisa jewellery and shoes by Novo, and to complement her romantic look.

The Suit
Andrew selected a chic black suit by Joseph Uzumcu.

My key advice to future brides is to be organised because it helps you relax on your wedding day. People’s opinions matter, but make sure you do what makes you and your fiancé happy. Enjoy every second on your wedding day and be in the moment!
