How They Met

Bianca and Nick met on a night out. He was too shy to approach her and asked a friend to help him. Eventually, they spoke to each other and she liked him. “Nice guy… shy, but nice”, Bianca said to her girlfriends. They exchanged phone numbers at the end of the night and the rest is history.

The Proposal

Nick proposed in October 2014 during a romantic getaway in the Maldives. It was carefully planned, and Bianca didn’t suspect a thing. They were enjoying cocktails at a bar when Nick grabbed her hand and took her to the beach. They were walking along the secluded beachfront with the sun setting when Nick went down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She cried and said yes.

The Theme

The couple opted for a classic wedding theme with a romantic colour palette which included lilac, pink, fuchsia, white and touches of silver.

The Ceremoney

They wed at St Michael the Archangel Chapel in Leederville. “Wedding bells rang before and after our ceremony which was really unique and made it feel like it was a special occasion”, said Bianca.

The Bridal Parties Attire

Bianca wore a fit-and-flare wedding gown by Donna Tobin Couture made from French Lace, silk and organza, while Nick sported a classic black tux by MJ Bale. The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in one-shoulder lilac dresses purchased at ASOS.

The Reception

Their wedding reception was held at the elegant Fraser’s Restaurant in Perth which offered the perfect setting for their classical theme

Fraser’s Restaurant was a gorgeous setting for their wedding, with candles and beautiful wedding flowers, sweeping views of the city and a dance floor full of lights; it was utterly romantic!

Unique Details

Unique details included a waterfall of colourful blooms draping off the bridal table and a spectacular 6-tier silver and white wedding cake with a bunch of lush fuchsia roses on top. The whole event was beautifully captured by wedding photographer Denise Teo.

For both Nick and I, the highlight of our night was our sparkle send off - literally, people lined the way to the limo with sparklers and we made our way through before saying our final goodbyes and heading off to the Crown where one of my best girlfriends and her partner had decorated the room.
