The Canberra ceremony was held outside on the lawns of Pialligo Estate overlooking the mountains and Parliament House and was surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The reception was in the magnificent Glass House that provided spectacular sunset views. The bride wore a strapless lace wedding gown by Stella York accessorised with rose gold earrings borrowed from her mum, a flower crown and veil. The bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses and the groom picked a navy suit and a burgundy bow tie. The theme was ‘modern rustic elegance’ and it perfectly complemented the wedding venue. Alyce had found inspiration for the green, burgundy and rose gold colour palette from her copy of The Bride’s Diary. The long wooden tables were styled with lots of greenery, and the flowers were in shades of burgundy, blush and cream, with rose gold and copper decorations.
