Real Wedding: Wendy & Brian's Art Déco Celebration

Wendy & Brian's wedding was a glamorous Gatsby-inspired affair with lots of confetti, fun and dancing. They hosted their ceremony and reception at Rocky Point Island in Balmoral, and they did all the planning themselves. The ‘vintage art deco’ theme had a few unique elements such as gold geometric frames used as a ceremony backdrop, a huge balloon installation at the pre-dinner cocktail area, elevated floral centrepieces on the tables, an impressive 8-tier wedding cake and fireworks synced to a music track which went off at the climax of the night. Their wedding transport included a vintage Rolls Royce and two sedans, while mini bottles of Moët Champagne were given away as bomboniere. The colour palette was very sophisticated with tones of blush pink and vintage gold on a crisp white background.
