The beautiful property, Auchendarroch House, was originally the Barr Smith's Summer Residence and it still has some of the original features such as cosy fireplaces and colourful William Morris wallpapers. The garden is home to rose bushes and trees planted in the 19th century. The perfect place to tie the knot? It has to be the iconic croquet lawn which is ideal for romantic ceremonies, pre-dinner cocktails and even marquee receptions.

Surrounded by the beautiful views, lush greenery and grandiose interiors, you are bound to enjoy your big day to the full while the staff is catering for your needs! Auchendarroch House also offers a myriad of gorgeous indoor function spaces. Seating up to 150 people, the Robert Charles Room is steeped in history and enveloped in glamour. Its most astonishing features include the original stonework, Swarovski crystal curtains and ceiling lights with hand-made forged iron vines. Floor-to-ceiling bi-fold windows are opening up to a spacious terrace and overlooking the gardens, so rest assured that you will be spoiled with majestic views. Spectacular entrance via the original doorway allows private access to both the Robert Charles Room and the Barr Smith Billiard Room which can be used as a cosy retreat for you and your bridal party.

There are also options for couples who want a stylishly intimate gathering. You can host your reception at the Ballroom which seats up to 60 guests or at the Dining Room which caters for up to 40 people. There are also two charming small rooms: the Oakfield Room and the Barr Smith Billiard Room, both of which are cosy, private and suitable for banquet-style receptions of up to 20 people. Additionally, the Wallis Tavern Bistro is also available for functions and it can accommodate up to 200 people.
