The heritage-listed Old Mineral House was recently refurbished and looks more elegant that ever. Featuring big windows overlooking the Botanical Gardens and Brisbane River, it provides a stunning setting for any occasion from a romantic dinner to a family lunch. And if you want to organise a special celebration for your friends and family, there is a private dining area that seats up to 40 people.


With delectable menus focused on Queensland’s local produce, extensive wine list and impressive service, Restaurant Two has a Brisbane restaurant with an outstanding reputation. Owner and Chef David Pugh uses only the finest available ingredients for his innovative contemporary Australian menu that continues to evolve inspired by seasonal produce and tastes of his customers. He believes that Queensland’s food is unique and world-class in quality and always uses locally sourced vegetables, fruit, meat, seafood and cheeses.

From delectable snacks such as Crookwell marinated organic olives or fresh daily natural oysters served with Yuzu dipping sauce which you can nibble with wine through to elaborate main courses made from fresh fish and seafood sourced from local markets, grass-fed beef or organic chicken, every dish is wonderfully flavoursome and healthy. The menu changes frequently and it always showcases the very best of local produce.

To end your gourmet feast at Restaurant Two, order their incredible desserts that include white gold buttermilk panna cotta, Valhrona dark chocolate served with “everything you could ever want to dip into it” and slow cooked beetroots and carrot sorbet.
