Before the wedding
According to tradition, the bride’s parents should host the wedding, but nowadays it is completely up to you and your groom-to-be. You will nee dto speak with your parents to decide how much they would like to be involved financially. If you want your mum to participate in the wedding planning process, here is a list of duties you can ask her to do:

On the day
There are also many things your mum can help you with on the day of the wedding:
