Givenchy’s new perfume is described as an “ode to beauty” and “elixir of the divine potency”. It is inspired by the divine mimosa flower which can blossom even in the heart of the desert and evokes the mystery of the endless golden sand dunes. This delicate fragrance is created for a woman that has reached the zenith of her femininity, and we think it is simply ideal for summer weddings!
Dahlia Divin Le Nectar de Parfum is the new luxurious, haute couture version of the original Givenchy fragrance created in 2014, with golden mimosa blooms bringing the new quality to the scent. The face of campaign for the new perfume is Candice Swanepoel who replaces the singer Alicia Keys who was the main inspiration and a muse of the famous fragrance maker. The promotional video is directed by Gordon von Steiner, while the visual campaign was shot by Peter Lindbergh.
Dahlia Divin Le Nectar de Parfum blends together the captivating mimosa scent with underlying middle notes of sensual rose and sambac Jasmine, while the base includes soft touches of creamy vetiver, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla and musk. The floral heart of the perfume is beautifully complemented by the woody base and the fragrance feels just as luxurious and as delicate as a gold leaf that gently touches your skin and glimmers in the sun.
This indulgent fragrance is encased in an elegant bottle made from lacquered glass in shades of gold. It features a gold thread around the neck and a cap adorned with golden particles which glow through the glass resembling a precious jewel. Givenchy’s new fragrance is arriving in shops just in time for the forthcoming wedding season! It will be available in Australia from 18th September from Myer, David Jones and Sephora stores, and the collection includes eau de parfum in 50 and 75 ml bottles.
