Ralph & Russo Couture Spring 2018 Collection

From Tokyo in Japan to picturesque villages in China, exotic Asian destinations inspired the Australian duo behind Ralph & Russo to create a stunningly versatile couture spring 2018 collection which they showcased in Paris. They were impressed by the “femininity of the girls there and how elegant they are”. Divine floral embellishments in delicate pastel shades reflected the mood of spring which defined the whole 54 piece collection which included both silky kimono-style dresses and shimmery metallic party outfits. The key colours included soft pastel shades of prink, purple and green but there were also plenty of bridal whites and ivories along with some sultry shades such as black, red and forest green. Each dress was a different story and we have seen so many unique silhouettes ranging from 1940’s inspired cocktail frocks styled with decadent head bands to impressive fairy tale ballgowns.
