Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

Inspired by the roaring twenties, Elie Saab’s glitzy haute couture gowns were beautifully embellished, wrapped with oversized silk bows and accessorised with flamboyant retro headpieces. The collection is teeming with his signature adornments and was inspired by the art scene, flapper fashion and vibrant night life of Paris during the memorable and ever-so-romantic twenties. Even though the dresses ooze with vintage flair, they are also undeniably modern featuring all the fashionable elements such as high-and-low hemlines, daringly plunging necklines, dramatic cut-outs, delicate translucent fabrics and ethereal overlays.
