MUSE by Berta is one of the most sought-after bridal lines in the world because it focuses on refined fabrics, impeccable craftsmanship and utterly romantic vintage-bohemian style wedding dresses. Even though it is a less dramatic and much simpler than Berta collections, MUSE stays true to the labels recognisable aesthetics and cut, offering a great mix of both fitted and flowy designs. This is probably why each collection goes viral on the social media! The wedding dresses emphasise the natural beauty of a bride, and each of them is hand-made by the most talented of craftsmen.
The 2019 MUSE by Berta collection is named City of Angels, but don’t be misled because it is in fact “anything but angelic”. Dominated by dramatic silhouettes and intricately detailed designs, it features eye-catching sexy elements such as deep V-necks, daring front slits, keyhole cut-outs, bare shoulders and backs or translucent and revealing layers of fabric that are enveloping the body.
The campaign was shot on the bustling and colourful streets of LA. You’ll instantly recognise the sparkle and glamour of the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills along with its luxury boutiques, exclusive cafes, tropical palms and sizzling, star-studded pavements. It was the ideal backdrop for these breezy and sexy summer wedding dresses!
What we loved about this collection the most? The fact that it juxtaposes pure classic romance embodied in puffy skirts, long sleeves, high collars or antique embroideries and modern edginess of sheer layers and brave cuts. The contrast is inspirational and resulted in a jaw-dropping collection that is best described as “sexy, edgy and bold”.
Our favourite pieces include the sleeveless tulle ball gown with a V-shaped bejewelled bodice, the elaborately embroidered strapless fitted dress with a sweeping tulle overskirt and that adorable vintage-style dress with long sleeves and Victorian collar. Do you have your own personal favourites? You will be able to try them on soon because wedding gowns from this range will be available in MUSE retailers’ stores across Australia and the rest of the world from July 2018.
