Sareh Nouri’s Timeless Wedding Gowns

Born Iranian and a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in graphic design, Sareh was obsessed with wedding dresses since she was a little girl and the big dream finally came true when she started working with a high-end bridal salon and eventually created her own line.

“I believe finding a wedding dress is like finding a true friend: you should be able to trust it, you should never regret it, and whenever you see it… it should always make you smile”, said Sareh Nouri who started designing wedding gowns because she couldn’t find the right one for her own big day.

Her dresses are romantic and timeless, but with a contemporary twist. She loves using the finest imported fabrics such as French lace and Italian silk for her bridal collections and works with a team of highly trained dressmakers and patternmakers. Each of her designs are handmade with utmost precision and every season she creates a collection of gorgeous dresses which is a fine mix of classic silhouettes with modern, whimsical details.

Sareh Nouri’s spring 2015 collection features the finest lace and satin organza, elegant silhouettes and intricate embellishments. From slip dresses to flamboyant ball gowns, this collection includes various styles for different types of brides. Each dress is very feminine, classical and innocent with plenty of modern details. Sareh’s designs are much loved and appreciated precisely because of her sophisticated glamour. She also has her own ready-to-wear clothing line, which follows the very same aesthetics.

We love her “Etienne” trumpet gown made from French alencon lace and 4-ply georgette. It is backless and features gorgeous thin crystal studded straps, which is a lovely detail for this sophisticated and vintage style dress. Strapless trumpet gown “Magnolia” is another exceptionally beautiful creation from this collection. It is also made from alencon lace and comes with a lovely purple sash. “Ella” has a similar shape and is also crafted from alencon lace, but features a V-neckline, chapel train and illusion back.

However, the most striking dress from Sareh’s latest collection is a white off the shoulder ball gown named “Asi”. It features a big, fluttery skirt made from satin organza and tightly fitted bodice with long sleeves which is crafted from finest French lace by Sophie Hallette. This dress has gorgeous embellishments and is available strapless. The “Sawyer” gown is also very dramatic with an enormous skirt crafted from thousands of pieces of silk organza and long-sleeved, backless bodice made out of hand sewn Sophie Hallette lace, while “Orchid” ball gown is created from clouds of silk organza in soft purple hue. It features elegant draping at the front and a big chapel train.

For brides-to-be who prefer a plain and chic wedding dress for their special day, the “Annie” gown is a symbol of elegance with a lovely sweetheart neckline, discrete sash with delicate beadwork and tiny buttons at the back. This strapless gown is made from quality silk faille, which gives it the perfect straight shape and has a pretty chapel train.
