    Just wondering how long before the wedding should you start looking for a dress?

    I don't think you can start looking for ideas too soon but keep in mind that styles (and your tastes change) so too far out and you might run the risk of no longer liking it come wedding day! In saying that remember that dresses typically take 6 months to come in once ordered in your size and then you need to allow time for finding accessories and alterations so I would suggest at least 9 months out. I found my dress 14 months out from my wedding... pick it up in a month or so. So excited to try it on again!
