Uneven bridal party

    After we got engaged my partner chose 3 of his closest friends to be in his bridal party and I chose 2 of mine and my daughter.

    Since this my maid of honor has told me that she won't be able to make it to mine (we're having it overseas) so now we've got uneven numbers.

    Does this matter? Did anyone else have uneven numbers?

    I don't think it matters at all! As long as you both are happy nothing else matters!

    I'm also having uneven numbers at mine. My fiance is having 5 groomsmen and I'm only having 4 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl. I didn't want to pick additional bridesmaids just for the sake of making up a number :)
