The hotel is part of the new $140m precinct developed by thoroughbred horse sales company William Inglis & Son Ltd called Riverside Stables and AccorHotels is proud to be partnered with this 5th generation family-owned business. 100 VIP guests and media were treated to the pinnacle of luxury with The William Inglis Hotel's world-class accommodation and hospitality, all enjoyed with sweeping views of the Warwick Farm racecourse and Liverpool’s river-scape.

As dusk fell, guests ascended to The Chiltern Pool Deck & Bar for cocktails, Champagne and canapés, where its designer cabanas and sun loungers overlook 300 acres of greenery.
Following the last light of sunset, guests were led down eight levels to the beautiful Big Barn nestled amongst the Riverside Stables garden for a rustic, long-table dinner. Within the barns quintessential rural ambience, horse stables and 150-year-old design, guests were served a signature menu.

The Big Barn is set to become a favoured wedding venue for couples to host their reception. Once you enter through the stunning wooden barn doors the most elegant and charming space opens to reveal stunning stable doors, wood-lined ceilings and modern chandelier lighting. This vast designer space is simply perfect for wedding styling. In honour of the existing and much-loved historic Newmarket Stable in Randwick, The Big Barn is a very unique reception room overlooking the racecourse and can accommodate up to 300 people.
In fact, the hotel also has an extensive range of function spaces including the Sales Arena, Big Barn, the Garden Pavilion and secluded rooms which are ideal for private dining. The Sales Arena is a big, impressive, versatile space for up to 1000 guests with a variety of seating options from banquet to cocktail. The Garden Pavilion is the perfect space for intimate weddings as it seats a maximum of 80 people, and is equipped with a catering area and amenities block.

After the main course, the evening was concluded in the elegant, old-fashioned whiskey bar, 1867 Lounge for local cheeses, petits fours and a tasting of rare whiskies and boutique wines. Guests were then able to end their night in one of the hotel’s 144 luxury rooms, each with its own unique theme and link to a champion racehorse to celebrate Inglis’ racing and thoroughbred history, where they could relax before bed in their personalised Sheridan bath robe.
The next morning a delicious breakfast of local, seasonal ingredients was served in the all-day dining restaurant, The Newmarket Room before guests left the rural oasis and returned to the bustle of Sydney. Well, not Danielle, who was delighted to return to our gorgeous office, in the stunning Southern Highlands, where we know that some of the Inglis family also call home!
