It was built in 1927 and remained the home of Federal Parliament until 1988. The building designed by John Smith Murdoch features sweeping windows, skylights and light wells providing plenty of natural light, and it truly offers amazing photo opportunities. There is a myriad of elegant function spaces to choose from including three Members’ Dining Rooms, two private dining rooms, two fabulous courtyards, the beautiful Terrace Room, the Senate Chamber, the House Representatives Chamber and the magnificent King’s Hall.
