One of the greatest pleasures of our profession is to visit the many superb venues who advertise with us each year. And, last Thursday, our Art Director, Danielle Scaife and I visited one of the finest venues in the Southern Highlands – Milton Park Country House Hotel & Spa.

Milton Park’s fascinating history begins at the turn of the 20th century when Sydney’s wealthiest residences discovered the unique beauty of the Highlands and favoured its cooler climate. Situated just 90 minutes from both Sydney and Canberra, Milton Park is simply stunning! As you drive along Hordern’s Road and through the imposing entrance gates, you begin to realise the magnitude and extent of Milton Park. Every part of this expansive estate is breathtakingly beautiful.

The grand mansion, with its eclectic mix of both French and Federation detailing, is warm and inviting. Upon arrival, we were ushered into the lounge and brought a delicious pot of green tea. Here we met with Stephanie Doria, Milton Park’s Sales & Marketing Manager. We spent a delightful hour chatting about all things wedding! We then toured the bridal suite and reception facilities. After that, Danielle and I took a leisurely stroll through the superb gardens with its majestic, oaks, elms, beeches, maples and rhododendrons.
