Weddings At Grazing Restaurant

Only 25 minutes from Canberra CBD, Grazing is a romantic country venue offering incredible function rooms and award-wining food.

Grazing Restaurant is located inside the majestic Royal Hotel in a picturesque village of Gundaroo. It takes 25 minutes to get there by car from the Canberra city centre, and you will be instantly wowed by the tranquil country setting and the spectacular historic building.

Start with your wedding ceremony at one of the gorgeous “picture book” churches in Gundaroo, and then enjoy delicious canapés served on a timber deck overlooking the gardens outside the Royal Hotel. Or have your ceremony on the lawns amongst beautiful trees and gardens. You can then move to the beautiful Stone Room which is an ideal venue for banquet-style receptions. The space oozes with country romance and boasts big open fire places, two-foot-thick stone walls and hand-cut wooden floorboards and ceilings, reflecting the warm glow of candle light.

Grazing Restaurant offers award-wining menus as well as impeccable service. The food is made by a talented chef Kurt Neumann who uses only the freshest local farm produce such as yabbies and grain-fed beef lamb and kid. Their typical wedding menu comprises scrumptious canapés followed by a spectacular three-course meal, but it can be customized to suit your specific requirements.
