What To-Do In The Final Weeks Before The Wedding

In the last few weeks of wedding preparations you will have a lot of tasks, but you need to save some time for relaxation and pampering as well. Here is what you must not forget:

The countdown to your wedding has started! It is time for some last-minute tasks. Your wedding planner can help you out with a lot of things such as contacting your vendors, but some preparations you just have to do yourself. Since your wedding gown needs to look perfect on you, it is best to leave the final fitting for the last week. This is also a good time to speak to your wedding photographers and let them know which snaps you want them to take. Make a wedding photography checklist to make sure that every significant moment is captured.

In the lead up to your wedding you also need to thing about possible wedding day emergencies and prepare a small kit that includes everything from wet wipes to make-up and sewing kit. Appoint one of your bridesmaids to carry it with you on the day. You will also need to get ready for your honeymoon because you don’t want to leave this task for the very last day. Prepare passports and tickets, purchase all the honeymoon travel essentials and pack your bags!

Finally, don’t forget to leave some spare time for an indulgent pre-wedding pampering. Spend a day at the spa, have a meal at your favourite restaurant or simply enjoy a luxurious bath and candle-lit dinner at home. This will help you get rid of the pre-wedding stress!
