Apart from the hip Maldives, Malaysia boasts many fantastic honeymoon spots and the beautiful Langkawi archipelago is certainly one of the most beautiful destinations.

Palau Langkawi is the biggest island that has the best spa resorts, restaurants and duty free shops, and its spectacular landscape combines immaculate palm-fringed beaches, lush forests and picturesque villages. You can exolore the island by car, motorbike or bicycle, go on a boat ride to discover colourful marine life, or enjoy scenic walking trails to see beautiful raniforests, mountain peaks and waterfalls. To spice up your honeymoon with romance, visit one of the lavish spas and have a couple's massage, go on a sunset cruise, or indulge yourselves in a delicious candlelit dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants.

Climbing on top of Gunung Mat Cincang mountain that overlooks the entire island is also a memorable adventure, and you also shouldn't miss a guided tour to Pulau Payar marine park where you can see hundreds of species of vibrant tropical fish, corals, reef sharks and many other sea inhabitants.
