Kick-Start your Wedding Day with a Healthy Breakfast

If you want to look and feel beautiful at your wedding, it is important to start the day with a healthy breakfast. It should be light but full of nutrients and big enough to keep you going until lunchtime. It is also important to drink plenty of water because your skin and hair need hydration.

You need a lot of energy on your wedding day and a combination of carbohydrates and protein such as poached eggs on wholegrain toast will make you feel full for hours. Porridge is also a healthy option and you can add banana to it as it is a great source of resistant starch. Muesli with yoghurt or milk is also a great healthy breakfast that tastes good too. Opt for a rich mix of nuts, seeds and fresh berries that are packed with fibre, vitamins and antioxidants.

If you prefer a light meal instead of a proper breakfast, why not make a delicious smoothie with your favourite fruit and infuse it with chia seeds that contain plenty of nutrients such as Omega 3. Crackers with cottage cheese are a great simple snack if you don’t feel very hungry, while herbal tea is a healthy alternative for coffee that will also keep your body hydrated.
