Christos Fall 2015 Bridal Collection

Combining modern with vintage and casual with romantic, Amsale Aberra created a breath-takingly beautiful bridal collection for Christos.

The dresses from the fall 2015 range were feminine and ethereal with soft silhouettes and cascading layers of fluttery fabrics. They were adorned with subtle, lady-like details like corded lace, ruffles and sparkly embellishments that gave glamorous flair to the whole collection.

The collection is meant to feel soft, feminine and carefree. I wanted these dresses to feel like you can take them to the ocean, desert or anywhere else with an earthy vibe.

- Amsale Aberra about her collection for Christos

We think these gowns are both effortless and elegant and would work equally well for a traditional, glamorous celebration and a destination wedding on a remote beach. Brides-to-be can choose between romantic and fluttery ball gowns and stylish chiffon dresses, while the colour palette ranges from whites and ivories to soft mints and blushes. Column dresses made from silk chiffon such as ‘Marion’ and ‘Josie’ are ideal for destination weddings, but we especially liked the strapless ball gown ‘Luella’ with beaded sweetheart bodice paired with tulle skirt and ‘Molly’ Chantilly lace dress in blush pink.
