Red carpet events are a great source of inspiration for brides and this year's American Music Awards was particularly interesting for daring, cutting edge styling ideas and fabulous hair and make-up.

She accessorised the dress with a chic necklace from Bulgari's High Jewellery Collection and a small Lee Savage clutch, while her hair and make-up were simple with a sleek ponytail, bronze smoky eyes, pink cheeks and nude lips. Kendall Jenner chose a Yigal Azrouel's black and white dress. We loved her sleek black hair parted in the centre and paired with glowing sun-kissed skin, groomed brows, metallic eye shadow and dramatic lashes.

Julianne Hough's styling for the American Music Awards included a show-stopping dress by Zuhair Murad in bright orange, which could be your ultimate choice for an engagement party. She backcombed her short blond hair, which looked sleek and elegant, while dramatic smoky eyes perfectly complemented her radiant skin.
