Styling Outdoor Wedding Spaces

Do you prefer a beach wedding in thongs or a rustic party in a fabulous vineyard? Think beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos, cool breezes and natural décor instead of classical flower arrangements.

Wedding party on the beach is really fun because it feels almost like a holiday. You can organise a ceremony outside and then have a reception in a hotel, or even take tables and chairs to the beach and have a decadent dinner under the flickering light of stars and candles. Use white and deep blue for your navy inspired wedding and decorate the table with seashells and starfish.

An outdoor venue doesn’t have to be miles away from home, so why not throw a party in your own garden! This is a marvellous idea if you are planning a small reception for up to 50 guests. Choose a fun wedding theme and make unique DIY decorations and guest favours. Don’t forget to let your neighbours know about the party and thank them with a small treat.

You can also choose one of Australia’s national parks or botanical gardens to organise a truly unforgettable wedding reception. With stunning landscapes and natural décor, you don’t need much artificial design. Just enhance the backdrop with small details and stick to colours that will complement the natural palette.
