From gift cards to DIY creations, choosing a wedding present doesn’t have to be so difficult. If you want to save time and money, think of something simple and chic but also useful. Forget about traditional presents and opt for something practical like a themed gift basket. You can fill the basket with cleaning products, food or cosmetics, but making a honeymoon kit is also a fantastic idea, so get inspired by Weddingstar’s selection of honeymoon gifts for bride and groom.

A memorable experience is also a great gift for the newlyweds that can suit virtually any budget. From a delicious meal in a romantic restaurant to a spa voucher or a ticket for museum, think of something the newlyweds would enjoy doing together.

Cheap present with a DIY touch is a great choice if you are on a tight budget. You can embroider plain white pillow cases or kitchen towels, or use textile colours to create your own designs. We also love tableware and glassware personalised with special permanent markers, but cutlery dyed in bright colours is also a huge DIY trend at the moment and would be a perfect gift.

Alternatively, you can buy a gift card in a shop which is a very practical present, or look around antique shops to find a gorgeous vintage gift for the home such as an old clock or lamp.
