The Bride’s Diary Team were delighted to host a lovely luncheon at Sails on Lavender Bay on November the 9th, 2014 to celebrate the launch of our stunning new website. We invited the creative and talented team from Switch IT, who created our superb site, as well as partners.

Sails on Lavender Bay is Sydney’s premium waterfront wedding venue overlooking the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House and offering impeccable service and wonderfully tasting food prepared by award-winning head chef Nathan Darling and his kitchen team. This is the perfect location for couples planning an intimate gathering or a wedding reception for up to 100 people who simply want to thrill their guests with spectacular city views and an incomparable gourmet experience.

The main venue at Sails on Lavender Bay can seat up to 80 people or cater for up to 100 guests at a cocktail reception, but you can also organise a reception at the private dining room that overlooks the harbour and features a table for 20 guests.

What you will love about Sails on Lavender Bay is the incredibly delicious artisanal food. Even their cocktail party menus looks and tastes absolutely amazing and includes scrumptious sweet and savoury bite-sized food, antipasto platters as well as a selection of substantial canapés. If you prefer a sit down-style dinner, you will enjoy an amazing five-course meal starting with mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres and ending with heavenly desserts, while each flavour is meticulously paired with one of the top quality wines from the restaurant’s superb selection which is compiled by their expert sommelier.

Special mention and thanks needs to be extended to their charming and attentive waiting staff. Their professionalism and genuine warmth made our event even more enjoyable and it was very difficult to leave at the end of the day!
