Ovarian cancer claims the lives of 1000 women every day and Brisbane Heat is taking action to raise awareness and money for their official charity partner Ovarian Cancer Australia. The aim is to provide funding for support, advocacy and research into this dangerous disease. They are holding a Morning Tea at the home of Queensland Cricket – Allan Border Field on Thursday November 13 from 10 am to 12 pm at Picket Fence Café. Georgina Lewis from Network Ten will host the event and there will be plenty of guest speakers, and even some amazing prizes you might win. Brides-to-be are invited to join the Brisbane Heat crew and have a refreshing glass of bubbly, a decadent morning tea, but also enjoy scrumptious food, as well as fabulous entertainment.
The ticket for this magnificent event costs only $55 and by participating you can really make the difference, as all proceedings are going to Ovarian Cancer Australia. Brisbane Heat invites you to donate for this worthy cause and help them support women’s health.
