Taking place every Friday and Saturday night over summer from 30th January to 21st March inclusive, Twilight at Taronga 2015 will present the series’ most diverse line-up to date. On Tuesday 28th October, 2014 Taronga Zoo will announce the program for this new era of entertainment with a line-up of international, contemporary and classic Australian artists. This eclectic mix of artists will ensure Twilight at Taronga takes the stage as an essential Sydney experience that welcomes audiences of all ages to this unique venue.

To mark the occasion and celebrate the new look series, Twilight at Taronga commissioned iconic Australian artist, Mosman local and Twilight regular Ken Done to design the 20th Anniversary artwork.

In 2015 we are not only celebrating 20 years of Twilight but are thrilled to be presenting a line-up that will introduce Twilight at Taronga to a new generation of audiences as well as providing plenty of great-night-out options for longstanding fans of the event.

- Paul Davies, General Manager - Marketing, Fundraising & Commercial Services

“To represent this step change, we wanted to create a new visual identity for the series that reflected the connection between the music, the Zoo and our incredible harbour-side location. Ken Done was the perfect choice to produce this imagery with his strong affinity with the Zoo, including his recent support of Taronga’s Wild Rhinos! conservation project, and his famous artistic celebrations of our incredible harbour vista,” says Davies.

Famous for his stylistically simple yet colourful portrayals of the diverse Australian landscape and native animals, Ken Done has been described as the most original style to come out of Australia. In many parts of the world, he has come to symbolise Australia and Australians: creative, optimistic and bold.

I've always loved the zoo. It is a beautiful and thrilling place and to attend one of the Twilight at Taronga concerts is one of the real joys of living in Sydney.

- Ken Done, Artist
