Emma was working on an exhibition stand at a wood trade show when she first met Scott. Scott, a builder, spotted the beautiful Emma and bought something at the stand just so that he could meet her.

Typical of many young Australians growing up near a beach, Esther and Brendan became members of surf life saving clubs as children. They both loved the ocean and as the years passed, they remained committed to their role as surf lifesavers.

Kylie and Ben met at a mutual friend’s poolside engagement party. Although they enjoyed chatting to one another during the afternoon, they left it at that and went their separate ways.

Although Lisa and Kieran both grew up in Cleve, a small country town on the Eyre Peninsula, it wasn’t until Lisa moved to Adelaide to attend university that their relationship moved from casual acquaintances to good friends.

Shanelle and Dan’s story started when Shanelle and a girlfriend went on holiday together to Cairns. With little money to spare, they stayed at a backpackers’ hostel – and couldn’t help noticing two young Englishmen in the hostel’s pool performing fancy backflips in an obvious effort to attract their attention.
