Reception

Farewell To The Bride and Groom

The party’s over. It’s been a wonderful day, but it’s time for you to go. Farewelling your family and friends as you leave your reception can be an emotional time – so don’t be surprised by a few tears (yours probably and almost certainly your mum’s) and arm yourself with a handful of tissues.

Planning Your Reception

Your reception is the time for you to celebrate your newly married state with the people who mean the most to you – your family and dearest friends. These are the people whose lives are interwoven with your own. They will want to congratulate you and share in your joy, and this is your opportunity to thank them for being with you on your most special day.

Reception Procedure

Your vows have been exchanged; your signatures placed for all to see. This union deserves to be celebrated!

Seating Arrangements

Although the final plan is up to you and your family, there are a few guidelines that may make the process a little easier. Let the feast begin!

Seating Your Guests

You have arranged the reception venue, chosen the caterers, selected a menu and picked the cake. The music has been finalised and the flowers will look fantastic. But now comes the tricky part. Seemingly a simple task, creating a seating plan for your guests requires patience and diplomacy.

The Choice Of Beverages

Choosing a beverage selection that will complement your wedding's atmosphere is an important task.

The Home Reception

If you would like a reception that’s intimate, warm and very special, invite your guests to your home. Your family home will welcome and embrace those you’ve chosen to share your wedding day like no other venue.

Your Reception

After months of planning, your wedding not only went smoothly, it was a wonderful success. You looked fabulous. He looked confident and relaxed. You exchanged your vows, you are now man and wife - and if all this isn’t good reason for a celebration, nothing ever will be.

Your Reception In The Vineyard

There is something deliciously decadent about holding your reception at a vineyard. Australia is home to an amazing diversity of world-class wines – and the regions in which they are grown lend themselves to romantic and picturesque reception (and honeymoon) locations.
